Founded in 1980, we at YSG developed our business as a premier knit fabric resource for the US market. Five years later, we opened the Artex division to focus primarily on apparel sourcing. Today, YSG produces approximately 7.5 million yards of piece goods and 10 million knit garments per year.

From fabric and print design to competitive garment sourcing, YSG provides convenient one stop shopping for our clients. The production process is managed from the raw fiber through to the finished garment by specialist teams of account managers. This vertical integration of the supply chain process allows us to shorten lead times and efficiently ensure the highest quality standards. Our production planning and professional management allows us to co-ordinate the manufacture of goods through a network of world- wide offices.

Duty free sourcing is a leading component of the YSG structure. Currently we own and operate a total of 28 production lines in Swaziland with a capacity of over 1.2 garments a month. Our screen print facility in Swaziland produces over 300,000 garments with basic as well as novelty print techniques. Synthetic blend knits and Lycra /Spandex blends constitute 70% of our production capacity and prove to be exceptionally competitively priced. Bangladesh and China serve as our primary production based for high CM garments.

Our mission has always been to offer the most competitive pricing, trend right product development, and high quality Supply Chain Management. Compliance and quality control serve as a key element throughout the production process. Through systematic audits and inspections we guarantee our clients the highest possible standards throughout our factory base.

Today by vertically integrating fiber to fabric production complemented with Artex garment production has proven to be the major source of YSG competitive advantage. Our clients continue to partner with us as a key knit resource for the future.

Development & Compliance

Research & Development:

The Yell Steel Group places huge emphasis and investment on fabric, print and apparel product development. Our Taiwan headquarters serve as the primary center for all our clients’ development needs. The Yell Steel Group is a pioneer in developing innovative and trend right fabrics and finishes. In order to serve our clients even better we work in partnership with them to test new product through our Quick Response Program. Fabrics can be developed, styles designed and garments shipped within 60 days from concept.

Compliance & Quality Control:

Through systematic inspections and auditing, we control the entire supply chain for our clients. This is a key component to ensure that all products are delivered through ethical and legal means. All components of the production process are purchased through our Taiwan headquarters to ensure consistency.
